The brief for this piece was to create Artist Books based on everyday domestic objects. This hand printed book is based on the simple Whisk, telling its history along with other trivial information. Screenprinted in one colour onto varios textured paper this book really feels 'hand-made'. Book fabric is used for the binding of the spine with book ribbon to fasten.
The end papers are my favorite detail about this artist book, characterizing different whisk designs.
This hand printed artist book was created to tell the story of an ordinary domestic object. This hand made book tells the history of the humble fork and its various designs. It is printed in one colour on varios papers and boards to give it a lovely 'hand-made' quality, and is tied with a ribbon fastening. The endpapers are definetly my favorite element of this book, covered in lot's of tiny forks.
